Midlands Legionella Control carried out an extensive UKAS accredited water sampling / water testing at a large care home in Sutton Coldfield, West Midlands. The work included scheduled sampling from all sentinel outlets and the base of each mains-fed calorifier. This was completed in accordance with the care home’s up-to-date legionella risk assessment schedule, which was completed by a different provider.
Samples were taken from the base of all calorifiers, as well as from all hot and cold sentinel outlets. Our engineer took all samples without disturbing the residents, and confirmed with site what samples had been taken, before taking them straight to the lab. All water samples
